Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Adult Medicine division in Cape Coral. The position offers a Monday–Friday, day shift schedule and room to grow within a physician-owned practice serving Cape Coral and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include room preparation, patient intake, vital signs, assisting physicians during exams, and accurate charting. Candidates should have MA certification or two years of MA experience with certification

Qualifications

• Certification or eligibility to obtain CMA/CCMA/RMA/ABR-OE within six months
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to build rapport with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications
• One year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Adult Medicine division in Cape Coral. Schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift.

Minimum Requirements

• A certification/registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ABR-OE) or a minimum of two years working as a medical assistant and the ability to get certified/credentialed within six months of employment
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications
• One year of medical assisting experience or a combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Regular and reliable attendance is required
