Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversees data and ensures compliance with enterprise standards for referrals and prior authorizations.
• Acts as liaison between referring offices, specialists, and patients to coordinate visits.
• Obtains insurance authorization and attaches referral records to visits in the EMR.
• Documents communications in the electronic health record and tracks approvals.
• Prioritizes referral requests and expedites urgent cases per protocol.
