Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Franklin, Tennessee is hiring Referral Nurses to work in the Call Center. As a Referral Nurse, you will coordinate and process admissions, review referral calls, and manage bed availability for patients.
Qualified candidates should have a valid Tennessee RN or LPN license and preferably at least three years of psychiatric experience. Shift differentials are offered for weekend and night shifts.

Rolling Hills Hospital is hiring Referral Nurses to work in the Call Center. Referral Nurses must be Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and will coordinate and process admissions into the hospital. They will review incoming referral calls and faxes, and manage the facility’s bed-board, maintaining an accurate representation of bed availability and placement for patients.
$3 Weekend days; $4 Weeknights; $7 Weekend Nights
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Currently licensed to practice by the Tennessee Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. Certification by the American Nurses Association Credentialing Board is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Experience: Experience in psychiatric evaluation, triage, and crisis stabilization preferred; strong assessment skills required; at least three years of acute psychiatric experience is preferred; managerial experience is preferred; excellent attention to customer service; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization; effective oral and written communication skills; basic data entry skills preferred; proficiency in critical thinking skill related to psychiatric nursing, physical nursing assessment skills, and emergency management of psychiatric patients is essential. Understanding of EMTALA guidelines, mandatory screening agent usage, and HIPAA regulations knowledge preferred.
