Easter Seals Florida in Daytona Beach invites applications for a Referral & Intake Coordinator position. You will be the first contact for families and referral partners, guiding them through intake, referrals, and enrollment with outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates have healthcare-related experience, strong organization, and communication skills, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and mission-driven impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service or intake experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for families and referral sources seeking therapy services.
• Receive, process, and coordinate referrals from a variety of sources.
• Guide families through the intake and enrollment process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Collect, verify, and accurately enter client, referral, and insurance information into the electronic health record system.
• Verify insurance and payer information to support service authorization and billing.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, therapists, and referral partners to obtain required documentation and coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Support scheduling, reporting, and other intake-related activities to ensure a seamless experience for families.

Location: Daytona Beach

Pay: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour (based on experience)

Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

A Snapshot of What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for families and referral sources seeking therapy services
• Receive, process, and coordinate referrals from a variety of sources
• Guide families through the intake and enrollment process, providing exceptional customer service and support
• Collect, verify, and accurately enter client, referral, and insurance information into the electronic health record system

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service, healthcare, administrative, intake, scheduling, or related experience
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a healthcare, therapy, medical office, or human services environment
• Knowledge of Medicaid, insurance verification, or referral processes
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet navigation, database systems, and electronic health record (EHR) software
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
