CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 to support scheduling and pre-registration for exams and procedures with external providers. The role features patient-facing responsibilities and requires accurate communication and adherence to policy, with some discretionary prioritization.
The candidate should have under 3 years of healthcare experience, be proficient with medical terminology, and comfortable working with EMR systems.
The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office. The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator 2 gathers and communicates all relative information and preparation instructions to patient and referring providers. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
