The Pennsylvania State University seeks a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the Brandywine Library to provide reference services, teach instruction, and support student engagement for approximately 1,000 students and the greater community.
This role requires an MLS degree and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Responsibilities include collaborating on outreach initiatives and developing instructional materials.
Interested candidates should demonstrate effective communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a term position; the length of the term will be discussed during the interview process, and successful candidates are anticipated to be appointed through June 30, 2027. Continuation beyond the initial term will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
Provide reference services, teach instruction, and support student engagement and outreach for 12 majors and about 1,000 students, staff, faculty, and the greater Philadelphia area community.
Join the STEM libraries department team to provide research consultations, contribute to a program of instruction, and collaborate on student outreach. Primarily support students and faculty in the College of Agricultural Sciences across several departments.
