Job summary

YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a part-time basketball referee at Oak Square YMCA. Enforce and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the High School Rules with Massachusetts modifications. Expect to work 2–4 games in a night and arrive 15 minutes early for each shift.

Responsibilities include scoring, recording statistics, setup/cleanup, and ensuring a safe, positive experience. Must be 21+, HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, and IAABO certification with 2+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of employment, and maintain these trainings.
• IAABO Certified Basketball official with at least 2 yrs experience (proof required).
• Knowledge of the High School Basketball rules of Massachusetts.
• Be able to work Score, Stat sheets and a scoreboard if asked.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements:
