Job summary

Belgravia Center is a residential reentry program in Fresno seeking a Transportation Specialist to provide safe, reliable transport to residents for jobs, education, medical and court appointments. You will help remove barriers to reintegration and promote engagement with services.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality and professionalism, including vehicle inspections, scheduling, and coordination with staff. Front office support may be required when not transporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of professional driving or transportation experience.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record and proper insurance.
• Emergency first aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Office 365, Teams and Zoom.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for residents to employment, education, medical and court appointments.
• Maintain trip logs, mileage records, and vehicle usage reports in line with policy.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip and monthly vehicle inspections; report issues promptly.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with staff and residents to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce rules and maintain professional boundaries during transit.
• Assist with front office tasks and program operations when transportation is not needed.
• Protect resident confidentiality and follow privacy standards.
• Respond to emergencies using agency protocols and de-escalation techniques.
