To qualify, applicants must meet education requirements with graduate-level coursework in behavioral or social sciences and have experience in casework, counseling, or social rehabilitation related to correctional settings. Additional education or experience in corrections or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing case management services to inmates or correctional populations.
• Knowledge of social histories and related behavioral sciences.
• Ability to determine inmate needs and monitor progress through reports and plans.
• Strong written and verbal communications with attorneys, judges, Parole Offices and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to the local inmate population.
• Prepare social histories and analyze behavioral data to inform program planning.
• Develop progress reports and monitor inmate progress toward goals.
• Prepare correspondence and respond to inquiries from attorneys, judges, and Parole Offices.
• Counsel on institutional adjustment and parole-related planning.
