Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with at‑risk youth and the juvenile justice system.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities.
  • Experience with recruitment and case management preferred.
  • Must obtain Level 1 Fingerprint clearance within first 90 days.
  • Must have reliable transportation, AZ driver’s license, and acceptable driving record for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise two Reengagement Coordinators and provide ongoing guidance and performance oversight.
  • Plan, implement and manage youth programs in collaboration with the Program Manager and VP of Community Engagement.
  • Monitor data quality and compliance across Apricot, HMIS, and other systems; address missing/incorrect information.
  • Coordinate outreach for recruitment of volunteers, youth, and program partners.
  • Audit participant records for intake documents, notes, referrals, and services.
  • Ensure records and data meet grant, contract, and organizational requirements during monitoring.
  • Maintain organized participant files per program requirements and track attendance hours.
  • Communicate effectively with Goodwill staff, schools, behavioral health agencies, and the Juvenile Justice System.

Salary Range: $48,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Program Manager (Youth Reengagement Centers), the Reengagement Supervisor supports the development and implementation of effective youth programming, supervises two Reengagement Coordinators, and ensures quality and accuracy of program data and documentation. This position collaborates with the Youth Reengagement team to evaluate current programs, identify service and development needs, and support continuous improvement of programming and services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate company’s values at all times.
  • Works with the Program Manager and VP of Community Engagement to plan, implement and manage programs and services that serve youth.
  • Directly supervise and provide ongoing guidance, support, and performance oversight to two Reengagement Coordinators.
  • Monitor data quality and compliance across Apricot, HMIS, and other required systems; identify and address missing or inaccurate information.
  • Coordinate all program outreach for recruitment of volunteers, youth, and program partners.
  • Conduct regular audits of participant records in Apricot to ensure intakes, required documents, contact notes, referrals, and services are complete and accurate.
  • Track documentation deficiencies and provide staff with timely follow-up, continuous improvement trainings, coaching, and deadlines for corrections.
  • Support program readiness for internal and external monitoring by ensuring records, documentation, and data meet grant, contract, and organizational requirements.
  • Ensure physical participant files are created, organized, and maintained according to program requirements.
  • Monitor data quality and compliance across Apricot, HMIS, and other required systems; identify and address missing or inaccurate information.
  • Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with Goodwill staff members and volunteers, local schools, behavioral health agencies, local employers, parents/families and the Juvenile Justice System (JJS) and engage them in activities related to Goodwill Youth Reengagement Centers.
  • Keep the Vice President of Community Engagement and Program Manager informed of unusual and/or crisis situations as they arise.
  • Serve as a Goodwill Ambassador in the community and engage in community outreach, resource development, and networking activities in order to grow and market the program.
  • Review submitted data with Vice President of Community Engagement and Program Manager on regular intervals and conduct follow-up on any missing or incomplete data (to include the internal G & O process).
  • Maintain and track attendance hours for youth participants in work experience.
  • Stay informed on any policy, procedure, or activities that affect the program including CARF regulations and federal regulations related to funding source (conditions of awards).
  • Participate in all required trainings provided by funding source and GISA, as needed.
  • Ensures all safety rules are adhered to and the general upkeep of the facility meets the standards of Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, Inc. Reports accidents or injuries immediately
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or related field preferred
  • Strong community ties and critical relationship with communities of color
  • Relevant lived experience with the justice systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with at-risk youth and the juvenile justice system required
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with recruitment and case management preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must possess or be able to obtain: Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card within first 90 days
  • Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid AZ driver’s license, current auto insurance and meet Goodwill’s acceptable driving record insurance requirements to travel throughout the Southern Arizona area.
  • Ability to travel in Tribal communities in Pima County.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals.
