Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications
• EPA 608 (Type 2 or Universal) & EPA 609 Certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Welding ability (preferred)
• Class A CDL and DOT certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on diesel reefer equipment (Thermo King & Carrier Refrigeration)
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer standards
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel
• Receive road calls and coordinate with third-party vendors
• Document repairs and parts used using fleet maintenance software
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules and regulations
