Position Summary The Alumni Relations & Career Transitions Manager provides personalized support to alumni and firm lawyers navigating career changes. This role helps connect candidates with relevant opportunities, maintains alumni-focused career platforms and databases, and supports the promotion of the firm’s alumni job board as a value-added resource for clients and partners. The Manager also oversees career-related content, provides user support, and manages projects related to platform enhancements and resource development. In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, this role contributes to the visibility, functionality, and strategic integration of the firm’s career transitions initiatives.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Capable of self-managing tasks and deadlines in a remote or hybrid work environment, ensuring productivity and responsiveness without direct oversight. Ability to concentrate, think critically, and analyze situations to support sound decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to provide high-quality, service-oriented support to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Works in typical office setting and/or remotely. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule.
This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

• Chicago & Philadelphia: $129,000 – $168,000
• Washington, DC: $137,000 – $179,000
