Responsibilities

  • Assist students in developing academic plans and setting realistic educational and career goals.

  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as study skills, stress management, and college readiness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Provide crisis support and implement prevention programming in collaboration with school staff and community partners.
  • Stay informed about community resources and services to provide students and families with appropriate referrals.
  • Participate in school events and activities to foster a positive school culture and promote community engagement.
  • Stay current with best practices in school counseling and participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field.
