POSITION TITLE: Redner’s Ready Clerk

DEPARTMENT: Redner’s Ready

REPORTS TO: Store Director/Redner’s Ready Specialist

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

To process web orders as they are generated. This includes selecting products, communicating product availability with guests, processing the transaction, and delivering products to the guest’s vehicle. Ready Clerks are also expected to ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service, both in person and via communication.

Essential Job Functions
  • Print and select Webcart generated orders according to guest specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with guests via phone, text, or email regarding product information.
  • Select high-quality and fresh products in all departments.
  • Identify produce items accurately and input lookup codes correctly.
  • Process tokenized payments from guests.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Use store layout knowledge to select orders efficiently.
  • Stay informed about weekly ad and Hot Sheet items.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking customers properly.
  • Follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Communicate departmental needs to the Redner’s Ready Specialist.
Supplemental Job Functions
  • Assist with general store housekeeping.
  • Update inventory counts and aisle mapping as needed.
  • Identify and remove spoiled or out-of-code products from the sales floor.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Dexterity to operate tablets and cell phones.
  • Strong communication skills for excellent customer interactions.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds up to 40% of the time.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
