Job summary

New Outlook Home Care of Central Oregon is hiring CAREGIVERS for immediate shifts in Redmond, Bend and Prineville. Part-time positions are available with the ability to move to full-time, and weekends off with flexible scheduling.

Caregivers provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship. Training is provided, with mileage reimbursement and weekend differential to support a positive work experience.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements beyond willingness to be trained.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming and mobility support.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks including light housework and grocery shopping.
• Provide medication and nursing services in the client's home with training.
• Arrange or support social interactions for client wellbeing.
• Follow the plan of care to ensure safe, competent care.

We are currently searching for caregivers in Redmond, Bend and Prineville! Part time positions available, with ability to work up to full time. Weekends off and flexible scheduling!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide personal care: assistance with personal care (ADL's) such as bathing, hygiene, dressing, grooming, denture care, toileting, mobility, appointment arranging, etc.
• Provide housekeeping: assistance with housekeeping (IADL's) such as light housework, laundry, grocery/clothing shopping, prescription pickup, meal preparation, etc.
• Provide medication services and nursing services (as authorized) in the client's home with nurse assistance and full training.
• Provide or arrange social interactions for client well-being.
• Follows the provided plan of care and service plan to ensure safe, competent care to the client.

RATE OF PAY:

• $20 - $24 per hour (experience dependent)
• $3 shift differential for weekend shifts

SCHEDULE:

• Flexible shifts, Monday thru Friday
• Most shifts between 9am - 6:00pm
