Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Redevelopment, Land Use & Zoning Group in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will manage development applications from start to finish and handle resolution compliance and post-approval matters.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, first-chair planning and zoning board experience, and NJ bar admission. Experience in NY or other jurisdictions is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• First chair experience with planning and zoning boards.
• New Jersey bar admission required.
• Experience in New York or other jurisdictions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle development applications from inception to completion.
• Address resolution compliance and post-approval issues.
• Represent developers before planning and zoning boards as first chair.
• Negotiate redevelopment agreements.
• Navigate the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law.
