Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is seeking a Security Engineer II to lead offensive security initiatives within the Dedicated Cloud Security team. You will conduct red team exercises, threat emulation, and mentor engineers while shaping security standards across AWS projects.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a strong background in vulnerability research, and proven leadership in security reviews for large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CEH, CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GICSP, PenTest+) are required.
• Current, active US Government TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Identification and Tracking
• Offensive security testing & vulnerability research
• Emergent threat testing
• Creating/maintaining automated threat emulation solutions
• Recommendation of findings and threat mitigations
• Produce high quality red team reports
• Security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Security guidance documentation
