Qualifications

• 2+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a non-internship context.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or 2+ years IT security experience.
• Experience influencing cross-team initiatives.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud security concepts.
• 3+ years in information security, security operations, or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring security patterns and drive proactive solutions.
• Build automation to scale incident response.
• Own issues from identification to resolution with risk assessments.
• Reproduce and validate reported issues to understand vulnerability.
• Communicate status to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop remediations through hands-on code with service teams.
• Escalate when resolution pace mismatches customer impact.
