Job summary

Quad, located in Westampton, NJ, is seeking a full-time Recycling Technician to ensure the efficient operation and processing of recycling materials using shredding/baling systems. The role involves staging, grading, start-up/shut-down, and processing paper, plastic and metal materials.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Certification: Quad Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification as needed for area/plant.

Responsibilities

• Gather, load and unload materials using lifting or Power Industrial Vehicles.
• Operate recycling machinery to process materials.
• Sort and assign appropriate recycling grade to materials.
• Create and maintain records for outbound shipments.
• Identify and address maintenance items and escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and machinery.
