Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a reliable Recycling Sorter to join Team Green in Orlando, FL. You will manually separate recyclable materials on a sortation line while maintaining a safe, clean work environment and following the company safety program.

This is a full-time, year-round role with a $15/hour pay rate and 45–50 hour weeks. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug test
• Physically able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work 45–50 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Safety sensitive role requiring adherence to company safety program

Responsibilities

• Manually sort recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, cardboard) on the sortation line
• Maintain speed and accuracy to handle high volumes
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety guidelines
• Keep workspace clean and report hazards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates
