Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking dependable Sorters for AM and PM shifts to inspect, sort, and organize recyclable materials and packaging products in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include quality inspection, material staging, loading assistance, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while following all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment requires physical endurance.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort plastics, pallets, packaging materials, and other recyclables according to company standards.
• Inspect materials for quality and contamination and separate non-conforming items.
• Remove non-conforming materials and dispose of waste properly.
• Organize and stage sorted materials for processing, baling, or shipment.
• Maintain production flow by sorting materials accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and safe, following all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Communicate material or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse and forklift teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
