Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Sorters for AM and PM shifts to inspect, sort, and organize recyclable materials and packaging products in a busy warehouse.

You will follow safety policies, meet quality standards, and work as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Sort plastics, pallets, packaging materials according to company standards.
• Inspect materials for quality, contamination, or damage and separate items accordingly.
• Remove non-conforming materials and dispose of waste properly.
• Organize and stage sorted materials for processing, baling, or shipment.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring materials are sorted accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Communicate material or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and forklift teams.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
