Plastic Recycling, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join our growing team.

You will operate shredders, grinders, and washline equipment to process raw plastic materials into clean feedstock, ensuring efficient production while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification and experience required.

Responsabilités

• Operate shredders, grinders, and washline machinery according to established procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust for throughput and quality.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Sort and feed raw plastic materials into machines, ensuring proper sizing and contamination control.
• Maintain production logs and quality control records.
• Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the department.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
