Job summary

Qualifications

• > 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to perform mathematical computations with adding, subtracting, and calculating percentages using calculators
• Able to determine gross, tare, and net weights of materials
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds
• Must work on platforms, stairs and ladders, and around equipment and hot environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and be detail-oriented
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Set up, run, shut down, troubleshoot and clean production lines
• Understand and apply Run Instruction Sheet (RIS)
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift and man lift
• Maintain and complete logs for production ledgers and quality control
• Complete Ready for Sale (RFS) tags
• Weigh materials and record weights accurately
• Take samples and report inequities to lab personnel and supervisor
• Clean packaging and dispose of substandard material
• Update RIS and communicate updates to supervisor
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Complete Run Number Time Log at end of shift
