PeopleReady in Burlington, VT is hiring Recycling Helpers in Essex Junction, VT to sort materials along a conveyor belt and pull out unrecyclables. You will operate a baler to compress recyclable materials and load items for shipping.

Available shifts include Day, Evening, and Night. Applicants must be at least 18; prior recycling yard experience is welcome but not required; you must lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather.

• Able to repeatedly reach, bend, push, pull, and climb
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
• Able to remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours

• Sort materials into appropriate containers for recycling
• Deposit recoverable materials into chutes and place materials on conveyor belts
• Operate baler to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
• Clean and maintain recycling yard equipment
• Remove chemicals from discarded appliances
• Load items onto trucks for shipping to other processing facilities

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19.95 - $19.95 / hour*

• Sort materials into appropriate containers for recycling

• Operate baler to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
• Clean and maintain recycling yard equipment

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night)
