Job summary

King County is seeking a dedicated professional to advance the recycled water program across treatment plants and distribution systems. You will manage projects, develop recommendations, and ensure regulatory compliance to support sustainability and climate resilience.

As part of the Renewable Products & Services group, you’ll collaborate with facility staff, regulatory agencies, and regional stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality recycled water.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water quality, recycled water, and wastewater systems.
• Strong project management and regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience coordinating with multiple agencies and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate long-term goals into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling, and delivery of recycled water projects at South Plant.
• Coordinate cross-program delivery and ensure consistency.
• Build relationships with partner agencies and internal teams.
• Assist with long-range planning for production and distribution.
• Provide regulatory guidance and develop reports.
• Lead planning studies and coordinate with capital project managers.
• Develop program communications and outreach materials.
