Job summary

SBM is seeking a Recycle Technician in Georgia to support recycling, reuse, and reclamation programs. You will collect, salvage, and sort materials while working with a team to maintain safety and efficiency.

This role requires reading instructions, using cleaning equipment, lifting up to 35 pounds, and following all safety procedures. Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30am with hourly pay of $15–$16. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent training.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
• May be required to have forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials.
• Maintain logs and schedules.
• Work with PPE and safety rules.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.

May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified. May be required to have Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA.
