Job summary

VIM Recyclers in Aurora, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to sort and process recyclable materials and perform everyday manual tasks to support the Supervisor and operations. You will handle cardboard, plastics, food, and metals with attention to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include feeding material on the conveyor, assisting with baler operations, cleaning work areas, stacking pallets, and following all safety and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Background and drug screen required (Marijuana included).
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime with a 50-hour work week (Mon-Fri).
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Physical demands include lifting, standing, bending, and pushing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse operations by sorting and processing recyclable materials to include cardboard, plastics, food and/or metals.
• Support Baler Operations by sorting/feeding material supply on the conveyor.
• Various team project work as assigned by warehouse management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by cleaning, wiping, and moving light material.
• Use brooms/shovels to clean material from floor.
• Use of box knife to process materials.
• Able to stack pallets for processing.
• Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks.
• Comply with State and Federal regulations.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
