Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Sorter to efficiently sort goods for resale at our Winston-Salem facilities. You will work with pallets, bins, and forklift when trained, ensuring accurate sorting and documentation.

  • Inspecting bins in and out of the Outlet Store to ensure items are properly sorted.
  • Loading cardboard and textiles into baling machines.
  • Filling out light paperwork and maintaining weight/item logs.
  • Using pallet jack or forklift (we train/license, but experience helpful) to move large bins and boxes and stack pallets.

Our Warehouse Sorters are responsible for the efficient sorting of goods, ensuring that salvaged items are rapidly processed for maximum re-sale. The position requires the ability to work rapidly, sorting goods into categories to route for recycling and ensuring non-recyclable items are transferred to trash. We seek team players who are committed to demonstrating excellence in their work and in their attendance and attitude.

Hours

Should be available to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends. Stores are open M-Sat from 9am-8pm and open at 1pm on Sundays.

Pay

$13.50 per hour
