Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Sorter to efficiently sort goods for resale at our Winston-Salem facilities. You will work with pallets, bins, and forklift when trained, ensuring accurate sorting and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. We value teamwork, reliability, and a proactive work ethic in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prefer warehouse/material handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting bins in and out of the Outlet Store to ensure items are properly sorted.
• Loading cardboard and textiles into baling machines.
• Filling out light paperwork and maintaining weight/item logs.
• Using pallet jack or forklift (we train/license, but experience helpful) to move large bins and boxes and stack pallets.
