Job summary

Chugachmiut is seeking a Regular Full Time Recruiter to research, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies focusing on native preference under PL 93-638. This role reports to the Human Resources Director and requires coordinating with department managers to fulfill staffing needs.

The position emphasizes ATS proficiency, collaboration, and process improvement to optimize hiring across the organization. Anchorage-based, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience.
• Proficiency in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Knowledge of Alaska Native cultures and communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting plans to meet staffing needs.
• Manage recruitment through the ATS from posting to new hires.
• Generate reports on recruitment costs and tool effectiveness.
• Write and post ads on job boards and social media.
• Collaborate with managers on hiring requirements and updates.
• Assist in interview process: draft questions, schedule, attend.
• Update and develop all job descriptions with hiring managers.
• Ensure compliance with laws and organizational policies.
• Maintain recruitment records and metrics for HR.
• Stay updated on recruitment trends and best practices.
