Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is hiring a Recruitment Coordinator to welcome new employees and guide candidates through the application process, from initial outreach to onboarding. You’ll use multiple channels to attract talent, coordinate interviews, issue offers, and support an engaging new-hire orientation while upholding the resort’s professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Proven recruitment experience.
  • Familiarity with HR software (UltiPro/UKG, TalentNest).
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and manage job offer requests, issue offer letters and manage associated documentation.
  • Support candidates in navigating the application process and discovering career pathways by recommending alternative roles when appropriate and ensuring a positive, supportive recruitment experience.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, and industry networks, to identify and attract talent.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Handle employee offboarding, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.
  • Support the facilitation of an interactive and engaging new hire orientation program for all employees.
  • Serve as a role model for professional conduct both in the workplace and in situations that may impact the Company’s reputation or employee trust.

What We Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems. Experience with UltiPro/UKG and TalentNest preferred.
  • Exceptional professionalism, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • This position primarily involves standard office work, including sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and performing tasks such as typing, writing, and phone communication.
  • Work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy resort environment; adapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.
Physical Demands

This position primarily involves standard office work, including sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and performing tasks such as typing, writing, and phone communication. Capable of occasional lifting, up to 25 pounds, as well as tasks involving bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment

This role occasionally involves extended hours and weekends to accommodate peak business periods. Operating within a dynamic, fast‑paced guest‑centric setting, you will maintain a high level of interaction with staff, employees residing in housing, and various stakeholders.
