Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to support hiring across business unit and corporate client groups. You will partner with leaders, HR, and teams to attract, assess, and secure talent across North America in a hybrid work model.

The role includes travel to client locations and a focus on diverse, high-quality hires. You will shape the candidate experience, build strong relationships, and drive continuous improvements in recruitment processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in a strategic, full-cycle Recruitment function.
• Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting, sourcing techniques and behavioral interviewing.
• Experience with ATS, recruitment marketing software, and employee databases.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted recruitment partner to business leaders, hiring teams, and HR partners across the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies attracting qualified, diverse talent through market research and proactive outreach.
• Manage candidate pipelines with emphasis on quality, timeliness, inclusivity and candidate experience.
• Assess candidates through screening interviews, provide clear recommendations and shortlists to hiring leaders.
• Provide market insights, funnel metrics and recruitment trends to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to support business priorities.

By building strong relationships, providing thoughtful recruitment advice, and creating a positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders, you will help open the door to rewarding careers with our company.**What You'll do*** Act as a trusted recruitment partner to business leaders, hiring teams, and HR partners, providing guidance across the full recruitment lifecycle.* Design and execute sourcing strategies that attract qualified, diverse talent through market research, networking, referrals, digital tools, and proactive outreach.* Manage candidate pipelines and recruitment activity with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, inclusivity, and candidate experience.* Assess candidates through screening interviews, developing clear recommendations and presenting qualified shortlists to hiring leaders.* Provide market insights, funnel metrics, and recruitment trends to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.* Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, and HR partners by delivering responsive, consistent, and consultative support.* Identify and recommend improvements to recruitment processes, tools, and practices to create efficiencies while maintaining a high-quality hiring experience.* Support business and workforce priorities by collaborating across HR and Talent Acquisition teams.**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.* 6+ years experience in a strategic, full cycle Recruitment function.* Knowledge and understanding of the full-life cycle of the recruiting process including recruiting and sourcing techniques.* Familiarity with behavioral interviewing, probing, and assessment methodologies.* Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing software, and employee databases.* Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and as a valued consultant to the hiring team.* Knowledgeable of employer branding techniques.**Preferred qualifications*** A professional designation is desired such as a Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR)\\*\\*In the performance of this role, travel of approximately 10% is required to various client locations across borders, and as such the successful candidate must be able to provide applicable documentation to this effect.To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-Hybrid**About our business**We are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
