Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field.
  • 4 years recruitment experience in healthcare or related field in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years recruitment experience.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Fluency in at least one applicant tracking system.

Responsibilities

  • Support hospital-based and healthcare operations recruitment across assigned areas.
  • Partner with nursing and operational leaders to develop recruiting strategies.
  • Provide market insights and workforce planning recommendations.
  • Build talent pipelines and coordinate sourcing and interview plans for critical roles.
  • Manage full lifecycle: sourcing, screening, offers, onboarding.
  • Engage with leaders through onsite meetings, job fairs and events across the metro area.

Job Overview

The Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in attracting top nursing and healthcare talent that supports exceptional patient care across Fairview's hospital system. This position partners closely with nursing and operational leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies that address workforce needs and build strong talent pipelines for critical hospital-based roles. As a trusted talent advisor, the Recruitment Specialist provides consultation on workforce planning, market trends, process improvement initiatives, and innovative hiring strategies to help leaders attract and retain high-quality talent in a competitive healthcare environment. This role also fosters strong relationships with hiring leaders through ongoing collaboration and occasional onsite engagement throughout the metro area (likely once per month), including leadership meetings, job fairs, and recruitment events, strengthening partnerships and enhancing Fairview's ability to meet the staffing needs of its hospital nursing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a variety of complex Talent Acquisition functions supporting hospital-based and healthcare operations positions across assigned areas.
  • Partners closely with nursing and operational leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract top talent and support exceptional patient care.
  • Serves as a trusted talent advisor by providing market insights, workforce planning recommendations, predictive hiring tactics, and process improvement initiatives designed to meet current and future staffing needs.
  • Collaborates with leaders to build strong talent pipelines, create positive candidate experiences, and develop effective sourcing and recruitment plans for critical healthcare roles.
  • Manages the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing and marketing opportunities, screening and evaluating candidates, coordinating and facilitating the selection process, preparing and extending offers, and ensuring a seamless transition to onboarding.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with hiring leaders through regular communication and occasional onsite engagement, including leadership meetings, job fairs, hiring events, and other networking opportunities throughout the metro area.
  • Supports strategic and tactical Talent Acquisition initiatives that strengthen Fairview's ability to attract, hire, and retain high-quality healthcare talent in a competitive market.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources or related field or
  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 4 years recruitment experience within healthcare or related fields
  • 2 years recruitment experience
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Fluency in at least one applicant tracking system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Arts MA-HRIR or
  • Masters in Business Admin
  • 3 years experience in healthcare in a multi-union, multi-site environment
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
