Job summary

GNB Global Inc. is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will source, attract, and hire skilled professionals from production floor to technical and administrative roles, ensuring a strong, capable, and engaged workforce. Work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies for manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and admin positions, and manage interview scheduling, onboarding, and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/business.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial.
• Solid understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
• Familiar with manufacturing roles (machine operators, welders, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• He/she will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled professionals across all levels - from production floor employees to technical and administrative staff - to ensure we maintain a strong, capable, and engaged workforce.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and administrative roles.
• Post job advertisements on various platforms (job boards, social media, internal site, etc.).
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams.
• Maintain candidate pipelines for key roles and anticipate future hiring needs.
• Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screening, etc.).
• Assist with ensuring a smooth onboarding process in collaboration with HR and department managers.
• Assist with new hire orientation
• Track recruiting metrics and report on hiring progress and KPIs.
• Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in manufacturing recruitment.
• Plan, coordinate, and attend local and regional job fairs, campus recruitment events, open houses, and hiring events.
• Represent the company as a brand ambassador and first point of contact for potential candidates.
• Build relationships with local schools, colleges, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to expand sourcing channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing strategies
• Familiarity with manufacturing job functions such as machine operators, welders, fitters, assemblers, and maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and recruiting software.
