Blue Team Corp is seeking a Recruiting Manager to proactively identify and build talent pipelines for field operations, project management, logistics, and skilled trades. You will work with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR to forecast needs and use strategic sourcing to engage active and passive candidates.

The role includes managing the Recruiter, conducting outreach, interviews, wage surveys, and leading the new hire process from requisition to onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, preferably in construction, restoration, or a skilled trades environment.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS systems).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Paycor or similar applicant tracking systems a plus.

Job description

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and building strong talent pipelines for critical roles across the organization, with a focus on field operations, project management, logistics, and skilled trades. This role works closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the HR team to understand current and future hiring needs and uses strategic sourcing methods to attract both active and passive candidates. The ideal candidate is resourceful, data-driven, and skilled in utilizing various sourcing platforms, job boards, social media, and Boolean search strategies. This position not only actively sources, but also interviews and leads the new hire process from the initial job requisition to the date of onboarding. This position manages the person in the Recruiter position. This position also leads all training initiatives for both new hires and current employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define candidate profiles and sourcing strategies
  • Conduct outreach campaigns and craft targeted messaging to engage passive candidates
  • Promote BlueTeam’s employer brand across social media, professional networks, and recruitment channels
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Manage and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Paycor)
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics, such as conversion rates from outreach to hire
  • Leverage internal and external networks to generate referrals
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new opportunities and maintain ongoing engagement
  • Conduct reference checks on selected candidates as needed
  • Interviews and selects top candidates to present to hiring managers
  • Conducts wage surveys and does analysis
  • Seeks out and participates in both internal and external recruiting events and initiatives
  • Manages the Recruiter
  • Only utilizes outside recruiters as a last resort
  • Prepares reports and metrics on employee and recruitment metrics
  • Leads all aspects of training
  • Leads and conducts all aspects of the new hire process to include, but is not limited to, offer letters, background screens, drug screens, and new hire paperwork

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

An ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
