RGP in Dallas is seeking a Recruiting Director to develop and execute integrated talent strategies that align with client demand and business growth. You will oversee the full talent lifecycle, partner with Sales to forecast demand, and ensure a strong experience for candidates, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Job description

The Recruiting Director develops and executes integrated talent strategies that support client demand, business growth, and workforce capability across the Dallas markets. This role blends talent acquisition and talent management, overseeing the full talent lifecycle from identification, attraction, and assessment through engagement, deployment, development, redeployment, and retention. As a hands-on contributor, the Director partners closely with Sales to ensure RGP has access to the right internal and external talent at the right time while delivering a strong experience for candidates, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $108,800-$136,000 Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation

What you will work on
  • Develop and execute talent strategies aligned with business priorities, client demand, workforce trends, and growth objectives.
  • Partner with Sales to anticipate talent demand, identify capability gaps, generate market intelligence, and surface revenue opportunities within current and prospective clients.
  • Recommend the most effective talent solution, including redeployment of existing consultants, engagement of internal talent, or external acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external talent networks across priority industries, functional areas, and markets.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across Finance, Accounting, and Technology roles, including sourcing, in-depth candidate interviews, talent assessment, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding of consulting talent.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and clear stakeholder visibility throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop proactive external pipelines to support immediate project needs, current opportunities, and anticipated client demand.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of consultant capabilities, career interests, development goals, availability, and mobility to align talent with client opportunities.
  • Build trusted consultant relationships, serving as a career partner and supporting engagement, development, retention, and redeployment.
  • Partner across Talent, Sales, and Consulting to match consultant skills and experience with client needs and accelerate deployment.
  • Monitor talent supply, pipeline health, deployment activity, retention trends, and workforce gaps to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver a strong experience for candidates, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders through timely communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, effective use of technology, operational discipline, and data-driven decision-making.
What you will bring
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition is required in staffing, consulting, or professional services. Talent management experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting accounting, finance, or technology professionals is required.
  • Demonstrated success developing talent strategies that support client demand, workforce needs, and business growth.
  • Strong expertise in internal and external sourcing, talent assessment, workforce planning, consultant engagement, deployment, and retention.
  • Experience building high-quality talent networks and pipelines across multiple skill sets, industries, or markets.
  • Experience working with modern talent acquisition technology, including ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and hireEZ, with the ability to use data and systems to manage pipeline activity, improve sourcing effectiveness, and support stakeholder visibility.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted relationships with business leaders, consultants, candidates, clients, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate client and market needs into practical talent solutions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, coaching, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented, consultative, and accountable, with the ability to balance strategic talent leadership, hands-on execution, sound prioritization, and urgency in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Based in the local market, with the ability to regularly engage in office-based collaboration, local networking, and client or market events as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution is preferred.
