Job summary

RGP in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Client Development Manager to grow the market through new business development and expansion of client relationships, overseeing consultant engagements. You will build and manage a client portfolio while collaborating with teammates to meet key business objectives.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Client Development Manager who will play a key role in growing the Washington, DC market through new business development, the management and expansion of existing client relationships/accounts, and overseeing Consultant engagements. In alignment with our entrepreneurial culture, the Senior Client Development Manager will have the opportunity to build and manage a client portfolio while collaborating with teammates to achieve key business objectives.

Base Pay Range: $97,000 - $122,000

Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation

What you will work on
  • Contribute to the sales activity and results for a defined portfolio of business (territoryor assigned accounts).
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate effectively with key client leaders and stafftoguide account penetration and sales growth.
  • Executes and supports account planning and forecasting activities in alignment with enterprise and regional objectives.
  • Apply best practices in generating leads, identifying opportunities, and leveraging available RGP resources to enhance account penetration.
  • Monitor and manage delivery performance, project risk and new opportunities within assigned accounts in partnership with Talent Management and/or Delivery Management leads.
  • Execute and deliver against established KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to RGP's continuous improvement through involvement in account-related case studies, collateral and thought leadership and the identification of client and market trends relevant for future RGP opportunities and solutions.
  • Research & planning objectives, including Salesforce input and cleanup, lead generation, and account research.
What you will bring
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited institution preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of total experience with a proven track record of success selling professional services to Fortune 500 clients.
  • Prior customer service experience and general business knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to engage and motivate people.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business development, sales effectiveness, account management, presentation skills, and customer relationship management.
  • Systems-savvy with an aptitude to dig into data and gain insights that drive business opportunities.
  • Adaptable with the ability to solve complexproblems through innovative thinking.
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent engagements and work streams with various clients.
