Job summary

depthfirst is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to deliver an exceptional candidate experience and build the operational foundation that allows our team to hire quickly without compromising on quality.

You will work closely with our recruiting team, hiring managers, and leaders across the company to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and keep our hiring processes moving in our San Francisco office.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or a similarly fast-paced role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Desire to create a great candidate experience.
• Highly proactive and resourceful, anticipating what needs to happen next.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing changing schedules.
• High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
• Excited to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow within recruiting.
• Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco (in-office role).

Responsibilities

• Own interview scheduling and coordination across multiple teams and searches, including complex onsite and virtual interview loops.
• Create an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience from initial interview through offer, ensuring candidates always know what to expect and feel well taken care of.
• Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to keep hiring processes moving quickly and efficiently.
• Manage onsite interview logistics and help create a welcoming experience for candidates visiting our San Francisco office.
• Keep our ATS and recruiting systems accurate and up to date, ensuring interviews, feedback, and next steps don't fall through the cracks.
• Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, process bottlenecks, and candidate experience issues and help solve them before they become problems.
• Help build and improve recruiting processes, workflows, templates, and systems as our hiring volume grows.
• Support recruiting initiatives across referrals, sourcing, recruiting events, offer coordination, and other projects as needed.
• Learn the full recruiting lifecycle and take on increasing ownership as the company and recruiting team scale.
