Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule virtual screens and onsite interviews with accuracy and speed.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for candidates - own all candidate communication with professionalism, clarity, and warmth.
• Deliver a seamless end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring candidates feel informed, respected, and well-supported at every step.
• Maintain accurate tracking, notes, and pipeline progress in our ATS (Greenhouse).
• Prepare interview agendas, scorecards, materials, and logistics to keep hiring teams aligned and ready.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to support structured, efficient, and consistent interview processes.
• Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or last‑minute changes with a solutions‑oriented, calm‑under‑pressure approach.
• Support metrics, reporting, and data integrity initiatives that help us continuously improve our recruiting engine.
• Act as a knowledgeable onsite host - welcome candidates, provide workspace tours, and introduce them to Varda's culture and environment.
• Support recruiting events and onsite engagements that help build Varda's talent pipeline.
• Set up travel logistics for candidates flying in from out of town.
• Partner with our Recruiting Ops function to learn and contribute to systems, process documentation, and operational tooling.

• Startup experience is a plus.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System; Greenhouse preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including complex multi-party scheduling.
• Demonstrated interest in systems thinking, process building, or recruiting operations.
• Experience with data, reporting, or metrics - in any context.

Pay Range

Pay range: $31 - $43 per hour

This role is on‑site in El Segundo, CA

Leveling and base salary is determined by job‑related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance
