Responsibilities
- Coordinate and carry out all phases of recruiting from sourcing through candidate presentation and new hire orientation coordination (as needed), under the direction of the HR Generalist.
- Assist the HR Generalist and department managers with drafting job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Implement efficient recruiting methods and sourcing plans based on role needs, industry standards, and organizational requirements.
- Post approved roles in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring compliance with applicable state job posting laws.
- Use tools such as email, telephone, and social media to expand the applicant pool, including cold calling qualified leads.
- Screen applications and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Schedule telephone, virtual, or in-person interviews and communicate with candidates as needed by location.
- Prepare interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Support the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate during the offer process, including support for salary range and other details, and obtain RVPO approval where required by the business line.
- Assist with pre-employment requirements, background screenings, and onboarding documentation to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Provide recruiting statistical reporting by transforming raw recruiting data into metrics such as time to fill, time to hire, offer acceptance rate, sourcing performance, cost per hire, and applicant counts.
- Manage position data in HRIS by adding, updating, and archiving positions and seats to maintain accuracy.
- Attend and participate in college and local job fairs.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned that align with the role scope.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recruiting or Human Resources experience; high-volume, full-cycle recruiting preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
- Healthcare and non-profit recruiting experience (preferred).
- Experience with a Talent Acquisition ATS or HRIS.
- Ability to self-manage, make independent decisions, and know when to seek advice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
- Ability to implement sourcing strategies across a variety of roles.
- Proactive approach, strong time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficiency with applicant-tracking software or the ability to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
