Job summary

Pax Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator / Sourcing Specialist in Austin, TX. You’ll drive sourcing, coordination, and back-end operations to support active searches while preserving Pax’s high-touch, quality-first approach.

You’ll partner with the founder, focusing on sourcing, candidate coordination, and building scalable internal systems as Pax grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or talent research (agency or in-house).
• Strong written English and professional communication skills.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter and other job platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter).
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and detail orientation.
• Good judgment in identifying quality talent and fit.
• Willing to shape the role and improve processes over time.

Responsibilities

• Source and research candidates for open roles using multiple platforms.
• Build longlists of high-quality, relevant candidate profiles.
• Draft and assemble clean, client-ready candidate profiles and summaries.
• Support outbound outreach campaigns and tracking responses.
• Own candidate logistics: scheduling interviews and coordinating availability.
• Maintain organized pipelines and candidate records.
• Help build internal systems, templates, and workflows as the firm grows.
• Flag strong candidates for deeper review.
• Keep searches moving forward with consistency and follow-through.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Recruiting Coordinator / Sourcing Specialist to support active searches by owning the front end of sourcing, coordination, and internal operations support. This person will help expand our capacity to identify strong candidates while preserving the high standard and personal touch Pax strives for.

This is not a full-cycle recruiter role. You’ll work closely with the founder and focus on sourcing, research, candidate coordination, and building strong internal systems.

What You’ll Own

• Source and research candidates for open roles (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other job platforms, plus creative sourcing methods)
• Build thoughtful longlists of high-quality, relevant candidate profiles
• Draft and assemble clean, client-ready candidate profiles and summaries
• Support outbound outreach campaigns (sending messages, follow-ups, tracking responses)
• Own candidate logistics: scheduling interviews, coordinating availability, managing communication flow
• Maintain organized pipelines and candidate records (statuses, notes, next steps)
• Help build and improve internal systems, documentation, templates, and workflows as Pax grows
• Flag strong candidates for deeper review
• Keep searches moving forward with consistency, follow-through, and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent research (agency or in-house is great)
• Strong written English and professional communication skills
• Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter and willing to learn / use other job platforms like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and similar tools
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Good judgment—you understand what strong talent looks like and don’t just spray and pray
• Comfortable helping shape what the role looks like over time, iterating on process, and building structure as we go
