Job summary

The Washington Youth Challe NG e Academy (WYCA) Recruiting & Admissions Specialist position is part of a dynamic, mission-driven team. You will help recruit at-risk youth across Washington, manage admissions during peak periods, and deliver informative trainings to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Spanish is optional.

On-site premium pay may apply. This role supports a 4/10 schedule. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or higher, with experience in recruiting, marketing, or youth

Qualifications

Effective and professional interviewing techniques.
Recruit youth in person, over the phone, and at events statewide.
Twelve months of recruiting, sales or marketing experience.
Professional level experience serving, educating, and/or delivering services for youth.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing and maintaining an effective recruiting and advertising program for WYCA statewide.
Manage high-volume admissions operations during peak periods (~4 months).
Travel statewide for recruiting events and promotions; occasional multi-day trips.
Deliver presentations/training about the WYCA program to youth, stakeholders and diverse audiences.
Ensure youth application documents are accurate and complete before in-processing.
