Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer in Rancho Cordova, CA to build proactive pipelines for specialized semiconductor and technology roles. The role requires advanced sourcing skills, market intelligence, and experience with leading recruitment tools.

This W2 contract (USC/GC only) lasts 6+ months and pays $40–$45 per hour. You will target passive engineers across NAND, SSD, firmware, ASIC, and related disciplines, using Boolean search, talent mapping, and personalized outreach.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of technical sourcing experience focused on hard-to-fill engineering roles.
• Semiconductor industry sourcing or recruiting experience.
• Strong technical recruiting/sourcing experience across specialized engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies, talent maps, target-company lists, and market research for specialized semiconductor talent.
• Source passive candidates across NAND, SSD, firmware, ASIC, device, design, product, process, validation, manufacturing, AI, and data engineering.
• Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, SmartRecruiters, Boolean search, referrals, professional communities, and approved sourcing platforms.
• Rediscover and engage prior applicants, silver medalists, leads, and existing talent-pool candidates.
• Create personalized outreach and conduct initial candidate qualification.
• Maintain accurate sourcing, outreach, candidate status, notes, and handoff information in SmartRecruiters.
