Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a senior recruiter to attract, evaluate, and refer qualified candidates for open positions using career sites, referrals, direct sourcing, and external partners. You will develop job postings, screen applicants, conduct initial assessments, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and support onboarding.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field and about 7 years of HR/recruitment experience; healthcare experience is highly valued.
Responsible for attracting, evaluating, and referring qualified candidates for open positions through a variety of sourcing strategies, including career sites, employee referrals, direct recruitment, and external partners. Develops job postings, screens applicants, conducts initial candidate assessments, coordinates interviews, extends and negotiates offers, and supports the onboarding process. Works independently to ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively and may serve as a team lead or subject matter expert on complex recruitment matters.
Builds strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and understands position requirements and hiring needs. Develops accurate and engaging job postings aligned with organizational values. Sources and identifies qualified candidates using creative recruitment strategies and multiple sourcing channels. Reviews applicants, validates qualifications, and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers. Coordinates candidate feedback, offers, and pre‑employment requirements. Serves as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and HR throughout the recruitment process. Ensures compliance with organizational, state, federal, and regulatory hiring requirements. Partners with leadership and external vendors as needed to support hard‑to‑fill positions.
Bachelor’s Degree HR, Business, or related field. 7 years of HR/Recruitment experience either in a Corporate or Staffing Agency setting. Healthcare setting is highly desired. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for degree. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems/ HR Systems.
