Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly positions across multiple branch locations. The role sources, attracts, and hires dependable talent, partnering with hiring managers to fill roles quickly while aligning with our company culture.

The position is based in New Brighton, MN, with an on-site day in Hastings every other week. The ideal candidate will manage ATS data, develop sourcing strategies, and build relationships with colleges

Qualifications

• At least 3 years managing all phases of recruitment.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices for hiring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify/create and implement sourcing strategies.
• Proactive and independent with initiative.
• Strong time-management and deadline-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ATS data and tracks metrics.
• Screen incoming resumes and applications forms.
• Advertise job openings on career pages, social media, job boards and internally.
• Effectively use Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
• Craft sourcing communications to attract passive candidates.
• Interview candidates and provide notes to hiring managers.
• Monitor HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire.
• Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
• Network with colleges and community organizations.
• Design and update job descriptions as needed.
• Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs.
• Lead and participate in new hire orientations.
• Adhere to recruitment process maps and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Make job offers and communicate updates to hiring managers.
• Collaborate with branches on practices and hiring needs.
