Position Summary

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for supporting the full‑cycle recruitment process to drive the organization’s short‑ and long‑term talent acquisition needs for both exempt and non‑exempt positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate the selection process, and manage offer negotiations through onboarding. The Contract Recruiter proactively builds talent pipelines, leverages multiple sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates, and ensures a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals and timelines. Working in a fast‑paced environment, this position maintains compliance with employment laws and company policies, tracks recruiting metrics, and provides regular updates to stakeholders to support effective workforce planning and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities And Expected Results
  • Proactively recruit qualified individuals to fill vacant positions for all assigned requisitions.
  • Participate and help plan on‑site job fairs.
  • Collaborate with HR personnel and executive stakeholders to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy.
  • Oversee and conduct candidate interviews in collaboration with talent acquisition team and hiring managers.
  • Utilize all tools available to strategically source top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate records, track recruitment activity, and ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, candidate flow, and hiring outcomes, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process.
  • Promote the organization’s employer brand and serve as an ambassador to attract top talent.
  • Assist with special recruiting projects, high‑volume hiring initiatives, and talent acquisition process improvements as needed.

Qualifications And Skills

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of recruiting experience for exempt and non‑exempt roles.
  • Experience recruiting with a manufacturing industry preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of human resource disciplines including human performance, and federal and state employment laws preferred.
  • Strong background in full‑cycle recruiting.
  • Proven record of filling requisitions in a timely manner with quality candidates.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
