In this onsite role in Charleston, SC, you will support hospitality staffing operations by recruiting and onboarding talent while maintaining strong client relationships through consistent customer service. You will also manage key day-to-day coordination across both clients and employees to ensure staffing needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the HSS workforce solution for assigned accounts.
- Develop recruiting plans and build a proactive talent network to fill current and upcoming openings, including visiting channel partners as required.
- Support community recruiting by posting flyers and signs as needed, and assist with social media recruiting when required.
- Contact customers daily to confirm staffing needs are achieved, including visiting properties as required.
- Source for new business within current properties.
- Track open and filled orders daily and document results as required.
- Partner with clients to arrange training for candidates who need additional experience.
- Onboard new hires through training and ongoing management.
- Ensure new employees complete background checks, drug screens, and all required new hire paperwork prior to beginning work.
- Conduct and manage candidate interviews.
- Address performance and employee relations issues for assignment-based employees in a timely manner.
- Complete daily activity reports and required administrative work, including hiring documentation and tracking hours and payroll; ensure weekly payroll is completed by required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate system updates for meetings and progress with clients and talent as required.
- Conduct safety meetings and provide weekly training to the property team, including documentation of safety training.
- Attend property morning meetings regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service through timely follow-up and clear communication with clients and employees.
- Complete workers’ compensation incident forms when necessary and partner with the Risk department to move claims to closure.
- Complete assigned tasks and special projects as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, hotel management, general studies, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in staffing industry required, and on-site management experience required.
- High level of communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic use of Microsoft Office applications and basic typing skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid car insurance, driver’s license, and reliable transportation that can be used for work purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
- Experience utilizing internet job boards.
Additional Role Details
- Location: Charleston, SC (onsite).
- Travel: Approx. 50-75% around the local area.
- Salary: USD 48,000 - 55,000 per year.
