Job summary

Roofstock in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a Back of House Coordinator to manage and support local STR operations. This role is vital for ensuring inventory is well-managed and vendors are effectively supported, allowing the field team to focus on their primary duties.

Working closely with the Team Lead, the coordinator will oversee both warehouse-based and field-based responsibilities while executing various market-level projects. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience and must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

Role Overview

As the Back of House Coordinator, you will be the administrative and logistical backbone of local STR operations, working closely with the Team Lead to ensure inventory is managed, vendors are supported, and the field team can focus on guests and owners.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing warehouse and storage space, keeping areas tidy and organized.
  • Track inventory usage and restock needs for consumables, linens, and key operating supplies in central warehouses and satellite locations.
  • Coordinate delivery or retrieval of inventory and supplies to/from homes as needed.
  • Assist the Team Lead with management of housekeeping vendors and teams.
  • Support the Team Lead and other market team members with coordination and management of third‑party maintenance vendors as needed.
  • Log and report field activity data into operational systems with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Execute market‑level projects that cross zones/teams, such as updating branded materials around the market.
  • Rotate between warehouse‑based and field‑based duties to support daily work needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in operations coordination, logistics, or hospitality support.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and responsive in fast‑moving operational environments.
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in office/warehouse environments.
  • Tech savvy and experienced with mobile scheduling, task tools, PMS platforms, and Google Workspace.
