Job summary

PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. in Tampa, Florida is hiring a Recruiter to source and place top builders across our projects. You’ll lead talent outreach, screen candidates, and coordinate with HR and site leaders to fill roles efficiently. The role emphasizes relationship-building, process improvement, and a strong customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or related discipline.
• 5 years of progressive HR experience preferred.
• Generalist HRPD experience is an asset.
• Understanding of HR principles, practices, and applicable legislation.
• Ability to work independently or in a matrixed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project management process, execution, and support of company-wide initiatives.
• Conducts research, analysis, program design, and communication in all areas.
• Administers documentation (guides, FAQs, forms) ensuring relevance and accessibility.
• Identifies and evaluates external vendors/partners and manages relationships and deliverables.
• Collaborates with other corporate departments and the HR Leadership team.
• Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with stakeholders.

Here's how a Recruiter for PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:

• Leads the project management process, execution, and support of company-wide initiatives.


• Conducts research, analysis, program design, and communication in all areas.

• Identifies and evaluates appropriate external vendors, consultants, and partners, and manages relationships and deliverables.

• Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline.


• Working towards relevant designation preferred.


• 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.


• Generalist HRPD experience an asset.


• Demonstrated understanding of principles, practices, procedures, and applicable legislation.


• Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.


• Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.


• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.


• Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.


• Results oriented and has proven project management experience.
